HOW DO WE WORK WITH YOU?
We make extensive use of broadband email to quickly send and receive artwork and instructions. Via
email, you can send us scanned logos from business cards, customer-supplied pdf files, rough
sketches of what you need done, and any other information that will help the job run smoothly.
When the finished artwork is too large to email, we utilize File Transfer Protocol (FTP). For you as the
recipient, this couldn't be easier. You receive a regular email from us with a link. Click on it. Your
internet browser opens, a dialog box pops up on your screen, and you click 'Save'. That's it!

SERVICES
Services on offer are quite flexible depending on your needs. However, these are some examples.
Re-creating a logo, drawing, or an unknown font from a scanned image (just email the scan to us).
Logo design (you must provide a good customer brief & possibly scanned sketches)
Bitmap or vector artwork manipulation
Preparation of artwork for vinyl plotter use
Preparation of "customer-supplied" artwork so it cuts or prints correctly
Font identification (send us a scan. If successfully identified (not supplied), $11.00 fee)
FORMATS
Beatties use CorelDRAW X3.
You can supply files in the following formats (in order of preference):
CorelDRAW, pdf, EPS, Illustrator, and jpeg.
We supply finished artwork in the following formats (according to your preference):
CorelDRAW, pdf, EPS, Illustrator, and TIFF.
File transfer is generally by email. If larger than 5Mb, we'll use File Transfer Protocol (FTP). For you as
the recipient, it couldn't be easier. You'll receive an email with a link. Click on it. A box appears asking
you if you want to 'Open' or 'Download'. Select 'Download'. That's it.

FEES
Beatties charge a fee far below the standard rates which often exceed $60.00 per hour. Our rate is
just $35.00 per hour plus GST. Why so low? Since the day we established our business, we have
purposely kept our overheads to an absolute minimum removing the need to charge high fees.
For your peace of mind, in the early stages of working with you, we are happy to give you a quote
rather than work by the hour. Let us know if you would like to start out like this.
At the end of each month, Beatties will invoice you with a 10-day account.
